Craftsman "2 bit" Axe Renovation

I started to renovate a double bit axe from my mom's garage.  This is a Craftsman axe head that is at least 40 years old.  I soaked it in white vinegar for a couple of days to get all the rust off the head.  Found a replacement handle for $8.00 at Twin City Hardware.

The pictures show the new handle I just mounted.

My First Small Axe
